Alternatiff

In the alternative scene paradise that has become Karlova 25 (where hip fashion and music stores like Rocksters and Fashion Shop thrive), amidst a tattoo parlour and a record store, you'll find Alternatiff Gallery Bar - a mecca for the Converse-clad. Follow the stairs down to a small cellar bar comprised of four rooms, each with cool artwork on the walls, and a mostly local crowd downing some pilsners to hip music.

Visited this place in 2009. Horrible. Dirty and seemed to be a haven for weird men. Had heard good things prior to going but was not impressed.

funky little place, with some cracking artwork, didn't make it there during the weekend but guessing it gets pretty lively....

A cool little bar in a cool area in general, Alternatiff is not always full on the weekdays, but if you just want to grab a beer or two in a place you can actually hear yourself talk, it's got the right atmosphere. Weekends it's a nice party place.
