Tretter's

This classy joint is not the place you go to experience Czech lager. In fact, you might be looked at funny by the bartender for ordering a beer (and certainly by the clientele). However, if you're in the mood for an excellent cocktail, particularly of an exotic nature, Tretter's is the place to go. The bartenders are top and can make just about anything you request, whether it's on the menu or not. Classy and hip without being overly pretentious, Tretter's usually has a good mix of locals and tourists, and often the party lasts well into the night.

Tretter's bar in Prague is a rip-off. For 200czk, around 8eur, you get a glass full of ice and a little of cocktail around it. Service is arogant - they tell clients to take your feet off a chair

I went to Prague a few years ago for New Year Eve, and beyond meeting great people everywhere I went, I must say Tretter's was my favorite bar. The bartenders were extraordinarily friendly, knew how to make a great cocktail, and the atmosphere just lent itself to meeting people. I made more friends in one night there than I have in any foreign country. I really can't wait to go again.
