Club Nebe

Nebe is one of the few alternative spots in Prague where you can catch some live music or just chill out to some house and groove, or rock out to some punk classics on the large dance floor. Club Nebe is also home to the famous Prague Heartbeats indie DJ night on Fridays, so if you like indie, Britpop, etc, this is the only place where you can shake your butt to Interpol and impress the ladies with your skinny black tie!

Just went last Wednesday, 80´s-90´s music played, but the ambient at the club was destroyed by a big group of British posh male teens who got into the club completely drunk, and molesting the clientele, and the worst of all is that the security staff did nothing to stop them. So many people including us left the club. I don´t recommend it as the security staff allows basically anybody in into this club, and if you go with your partner it will destroy your night...

We went out for a beer (after many of them :D ) to a famous brewery, which was just closing.
I stopped a nice lady who just came there with a friend, asking if there's anything fun going on. She invited us to Nebe, 20m away ;) So we we're basicly right there. We had an awesome time there! Girls are breath taking, music awesome, ambient impressing, drinks not so expensive... I'm missing Nebe :)

The location and atmosphere is great, however, keep very close watch on your money when ordering drinks. It seems that the bar staff take great liberty in cheating both the owner and the foreigners out of money. Its too bad, the place is fun, but this spoiled the evening, and after talking, it seems most of the Americans visiting were experiencing similar problems. Perhaps they remove a few staff, and put effective controls in place, would be my recomendation.

Nebe's best are the happy hours - all cocktails between 6 an 8 for 1.5 eur! Good for a starter - also to meet people
