From Prague to Bratislava in an Office Chair

Future desk-bound HR employee Miroslav Jonas, 21, wanted to show how an office chair can be used actively - so he travelled 380km in the wheeled seat. Currently a student, Jonas travelled from Prague to Bratislava using only an office chair as transport.

He managed to cover 20-30 kilometres per day in his journey, using two main methods of pushing himself along. One method was to sit in the chair and push with both feet, and the other was by riding the office chair as a child's push-scooter. During the trip, Jonas went through six pairs of shoes and twenty wheels.

The entire journey took Jonas 16 days to complete.
