Sure, many cinemas boast of being old. But Lucerna Cinema, an almost century-old institution, is the only one that can boast of being the oldest permanently operating cinema in Europe. And now, you can boast about catching a movie at the oldest permanently operating cinema in Europe. If that doesn't woo the chicks, we don't know what will. And if that's not your aim, you can at least know you saw a film at the premiere theatre for Czech movies, a place of various European film festivals and special shows to commemorate individual film personalities. Now thatís impressive. |

Really gorgeous - absolutely worth checking out. Even if the movie sucks, you can feel better knowing you didn't blow your money because you at least got to see the beautiful interior of a historic cinema.
