Palace Cinemas Slovansky Dum

|
The Slovansky Dum locale of the large Palace Cinemas chain might as well be an independent cinema posing under the corporate label. Though occasional Hollywood-induced blockbusters are shown here, it's also home to many unique and ambitious film festivals and events year round. The theatre boasts 10 screens and 1,839 seats set within a historical landmark of the city right in the middle of the Old Town. The cinema is also the only one in Prague using a Digital Light Projector to show digital films at the highest quality. The Slovansky Dum is an entertainment centre in its own right, with a newly opened cafe with magazines and DVDs for sale on the bottom floor. |
